Hello Huntley 158 Families & Community Members,

At the outset of the 2021-22 school year, Huntley 158 began our journey to re-engage with the District’s Strategic Plan and monitor our progress towards district-wide goals in partnership with the community. While we have navigated through the past two years of the COVID-19 pandemic with the support of all of our stakeholders, we know that these challenges and their long-term impact will shape our educational practices for months or years to come. Now, as we look ahead to the path forward in education, we invite you to be a part of our upcoming #LetsCollaborate158: Strategic Plan Progress Sessions.

These events aim to monitor the progress of our Strategic Plan goals and action steps, while providing a forum for thoughtful, relevant and fruitful discussions on the topics that inform our daily goals and long-term vision in Huntley 158 as a Destination school district. The remaining meetings scheduled during spring and summer 2022 are as follows:

NOTE: The District’s previously scheduled session on Huntley 158’s Equity in Action Plan was rescheduled due to high positivity rates of COVID-19 from January 12, 2022 to June 7, 2022. If you have previously RSVP’d to attend this session, you will automatically be included in our list of participants for June 7. If you would still like to RSVP for this session, please do so at the link below.

All sessions will be held from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Huntley High School in order to accommodate space for all those in attendance. If you are interested in attending any one of these sessions and have not yet RSVP’d, please fill out this form to confirm your interest in participating. This form is also designed to collect feedback regarding which topics parents would like to address within our existing structure and framework of ideas. All interested participants can expect an agenda and further details via email prior to our next session on Wednesday, March 9.

We invite you to visit our website to explore Huntley 158’s Strategic Plan goals and the takeaways from our first session in November 2021. If you have any questions regarding the 2021-22 Strategic Plan Progress Series, please email [email protected]

We look forward to connecting with our stakeholders and reaffirming our commitment to the pillars of educational excellence that truly make Huntley 158 a Destination District.
